Dutch Producer Confidence Falls In December
(RTTNews) - Dutch producer confidence decreased in December after improving to a five-month high in the previous month, figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Thursday.
The producer confidence index dropped to 3.0 in December from 4.0 in the previous month. In October, the reading was 2.4.
However, the confidence of the industrial producers is still well above the average of the last twenty years, the agency said.
Entrepreneurs were less positive about production in the next three months, with the index falling to 4.5 in December from 6.9 in the preceding month.
The assessment of order book position decreased marginally in December after rising in the prior month. The corresponding index fell to 3.1 from 3.2. Similarly, the index measuring verdict of stocks slid to 1.3 from 2.0.
