Czech Broad Money Supply Growth Quickens In November
(RTTNews) - Money supply in the Czech Republic increased at a faster rate in November, a report published by the Czech National Bank revealed Tuesday.
The broad money supply, or M2, increased 5.3 percent in November from the same month of last year. This followed a 4.6 percent gain in October and a 5.1 percent growth in September.
At the same time, the narrow money supply, or M1, grew at a faster annual rate of 8.4 percent in November than 7.7 percent in October. In September, the rate of increase was 8.7 percent.
The report further noted that loans disbursed by Czech banks to businesses and households in November rose 4.3 percent year-on-year, after growing 3 percent a month earlier.
