Bulgaria Industrial Production Growth Accelerates In April
(RTTNews) - Bulgaria's industrial production increased at a faster rate in April, figures from the National Statistical Institute showed Monday.
The industrial production index climbed a working-day-adjusted 5.0 percent year-on-year in April, following a 3.6 percent growth in the previous month. In February, production advanced 5.9 percent.
Manufacturing production surged 3.8 percent annually in April, slower than March's 4.2 percent growth. While, mining and quarrying output jumped 11.1 percent.
On a monthly basis, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 1.4 percent in April, rebounding from March's 1.5 percent decline.
Manufacturing output expanded 1.0 percent, in contrast to a 2.4 percent fall registered in the prior month. Mining and quarrying output also recovered, up 7.4 percent.
