BRAZIL: Economists Keep Estimate For 2017 GDP Growth Unchanged At 0.73%
(RTTNews) - Economists surveyed by the Brazilian central bank kept their forecasts for economic growth in 2017 unchanged at 0.73% for the second week in a row. For 2018, the median forecast for GDP growth was kept unchanged at 2.50% for the third week in a row.
Projections for Brazil's debt-to-GDP ratio in 2017 decreased to 52.25%, from 52.28% last week, while for 2018 forecasts increased to 55.90%, from 55.81% last week.
Projections for Brazilian industrial output growth in 2017 were kept unchanged at 2.00% for the second week, while for 2018 economists estimates were raised for the fourth week, to 3.00%, from 2.98% in the previous week.
