Ultra Petroleum Corp. -- Moody's changes Ultra Petroleum's outlook to stable from positive

New York, July 01, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service changed Ultra Petroleum Corporation's (Ultra) outlook to stable from positive and affirmed Ultra's Ba3 Corporate Family Rating (CFR) and the B2 ratings on its two public notes issues. The move to a stable outlook reflects Moody's expectations that a continuation of low natural gas prices will limit the improvements in cash margins and retained cash flow contemplated when Ultra acquired its Pinedale Field assets.
