TierPoint, LLC -- Moody's affirms TierPoint's B3 rating, outlook changed to negative
New York, March 24, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") has affirmed the B3 corporate family rating of TierPoint, LLC ("TierPoint" or "the company") and changed the outlook to negative from stable. The outlook change is based on the heightened operating and financial risk associated with TierPoint's proposed acquisition of Cosentry Holdings, LLC ("Cosentry"). This transaction was announced in January, just weeks after TierPoint completed its $575 million acquisition of Windstream Hosted Solutions LLC (WHS).
