Telekom Austria AG -- Moody's assigns (P)Baa3 rating to Telekom Austria's proposed hybrid security; negative outlook

Madrid, January 21, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service has today assigned a provisional (P)Baa3 long-term rating to Telekom Austria AG's proposed issuance of "Undated Subordinated Fixed Rate Bonds subject to Interest Rate Reset" (the "hybrid debt"). The outlook on the rating is negative. The size and completion of the hybrid debt remain subject to market conditions.
