Steinhoff Investment Holdings Limited -- Moody's affirms Steinhoff's Baa3 rating following Mattress Firm acquisition announcement; stable outlook

DIFC - Dubai, August 08, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) today affirmed Dutch domiciled retailer Steinhoff International Holdings N.V.'s (Steinhoff) Baa3 long-term issuer rating following its announcement yesterday that it will acquire Mattress Holding Corp. (Mattress Firm, B1 review for upgrade). As part of the rating action, Moody's also affirmed Steinhoff Investment Holdings Limited's Baa3 long-term issuer rating and Aa3.za national scale issuer rating. The outlook on all the ratings is stable.
