St. John's, City of -- Moody's Downgrades the Debt Ratings of the City of St. John's to Aa3, Maintains Negative Outlook

Toronto, July 25, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has downgraded the City of St. John's senior unsecured debt rating to Aa3 from Aa2 and maintained the negative outlook. This rating action follows the downgrade of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador's ratings to Aa3, negative from Aa2, negative.
