Sorgente SGR Spa -- Moody's affirms the MQ2 Investment Manager Quality Assessment of Sorgente SGR SpA

London, 15 December 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has today affirmed the MQ2 Investment Manager Quality (MQ) assessment of Sorgente SGR SpA (Sorgente), a subsidiary of Sorgente Group (the Group). The MQ2 assessment reflects Moody's view of the asset manager's solid investment management quality and control environment. Sorgente is an independent real estate investment manager with assets primarily in Italian primary markets, but with an increasing focus on diversifying its portfolios to include European and US assets. As of Dec 2013, Sorgente's gross assets under management (AUM) stood at EUR 2.2 billion, with a corresponding net asset value (NAV) of EUR 1.3 billion. The Group's total real estate assets -- owned and managed by the funds and controlled companies -- exceeded EUR 4.3 billion.
