ServiceMaster Company, LLC (The) -- Moody's says ServiceMaster's Ba3 CFR not affected by over $100 million legal settlement

New York, July 28, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") said ServiceMaster Global Holdings' announcement that on July 21, 2016, it had entered into a superseding plea agreement with the United States Department of Justice Environmental Crimes Section ("DOJ") in connection to a March 2015 criminal investigation brought against Terminix , a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, while also tentatively settling civil claims with the family injured in the case, resulting in over $100 million of payments, will not impact the Ba3 Corporate Family rating ("CFR") and positive outlook of ServiceMaster Company, LLC ("ServiceMaster"), the principal operating subsidiary of ServiceMaster Global Holdings.
