New York, October 14, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) placed the ratings of RSP Permian, Inc. (RSP Permian) under review for upgrade, including the B2 Corporate Family Rating (CFR), B2-PD Probability of Default Rating (PDR), and B3 senior unsecured rating. This action follows RSP Permian's agreement to purchase Silver Hill Energy Partners, LLC (SHEP I, unrated) and Silver Hill E&P II, LLC (SHEP II, unrated, and together with SHEP I, Silver Hill). RSP Permian's SGL-2 Speculative Grade Liquidity Rating remains unchanged.
