Penney (J.C.) Corporation, Inc. -- Moody's: J.C. Penney's bondholder dispute has no immediate impact on ratings
New York, February 05, 2013 -- Moody's Investors Service today stated that J.C. Penney Company, Inc. 's ("JCP") B3 Corporate Family Rating and negative outlook remain unchanged at the present time following JCP's announcement that it was disputing a Notice of Default received from a law firm representing more than 50% of its 7.4% Debentures due 2037.
