MTN Group Limited -- Moody's changes the outlook on MTN's Baa2 ratings to negative
Madrid, October 29, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has today changed the outlook on MTN Group Limited's (MTN or Group) Baa2 ratings to negative from stable following the announcement on the 26 October, 2015 that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has imposed a fine of Naira 1.04 trillion (US$5.2 billion) on MTN Nigeria relating to the timing of the disconnections of just over 5.0 million improperly registered subscribers.
