Moody's: Strong finish for US CMBS in 2012 but 2013 outlook still 'cautious'
New York, January 31, 2013 -- Measures of credit quality of loans backing new commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions in the fourth quarter of 2012 were comparable to levels found in late 2004, indicating that underwriting still compares favorably to that of the sector's 2006-07 peak, says Moody's Investors Service in its latest quarterly CMBS report.
