Moody's requests comments on proposed approach to rating venture debt backed ABS
New York, August 25, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service is seeking comments from market participants on its proposed approach to rating venture debt-backed asset-backed securities (ABS). We expect that adoption of the credit rating methodology would result in rating downgrades of up to one or two notches on our ratings of currently outstanding US venture debt transactions.
