Moody's: Ratings of Lunar Funding I Limited Series 4, 8 and 16 unaffected by amendment in CSA criteria

London, 12 August 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service has determined that the proposed amendment to lower the minimum required rating for the bonds of Government of the United Kingdom to Aa3 from Aa1 as eligible credit support under the Credit Support Annex (CSA) of the swap between Lunar Funding I Limited (Lunar) and the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), will not in and of itself and at this time cause the current Moody's ratings of the Series 4, the Series 8 and the Series 16 notes issued by Lunar to be reduced or withdrawn. Moody's does not express an opinion as to whether the amendment could have other non-credit related effects.
