Moody's: No rating impact on Golden Credit Card Trust outstanding Notes following issuance of Series 2015-2

Toronto, April 30, 2015 -- Moody's Investor Service announced today that the issuance of Series 2015-2 would not, in and of themselves and as of this time, result in the downgrade or withdrawal of the outstanding notes issued by Golden Credit Card Trust (Golden). Royal Bank of Canada (RBC, deposits rating of Aa3 negative; adjusted baseline credit assessment a2, baseline credit assessment a2, short-term deposit rating of P-1) is the administrative agent and sponsor of Golden The notes are backed by an undivided co-ownership interest in a revolving pool of approximately CAD 9.4 billion in credit card receivables originated by RBC.
