Moody's: No Negative Ratings Impact From Royal Bank of Canada Covered Bond Amendments
New York, January 09, 2013 -- After analysis of the credit impact of amendments to the swap agreements related to Royal Bank of Canada's Global Covered Bond Programme (the Programme), Moody's Investors Service stated that the amendments, in and of themselves and at this time, did not result in the downgrade or withdrawal of the ratings on the covered bonds issued under the Programme.
