New York, March 09, 2016 -- Global headwinds including low commodities prices, slower economic growth and the strong US dollar will cause modest declines in earnings growth in the chemicals sector, said Moody's Investors Service. The rating agency also expects more significant declines for producers of certain commodity chemicals, petrochemicals as well as agricultural products, and as a result has changed its outlook on the chemicals industry in North America and EMEA to negative from stable.
