London, 28 July 2016 -- Moldova's weak institutional framework has led to governance failings in the banking sector and had a significant negative impact on the government's balance sheet, says Moody's Investors Service in a report published today. The fallout from a banking sector crisis has led to a sharp increase in government debt, which increases government liquidity risk.
