London, 25 November 2016 -- Moody's Public Sector Europe ("MPSE") placed the A3 long-term issuer ratings of East Thames Limited (East Thames or ETH) and the long-term senior secured ratings of East Finance Plc under review for upgrade following the planned merger with L&Q Group (L&Q) which is expected to be completed in December 2016. The merger has been approved by the Boards of both companies. ETH will become a subsidiary of L&Q when the merger completes.
