John Hancock Global Funding II -- Moody's affirms A1 IFS of The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company and US subsidiaries; stable outlook
Toronto, December 19, 2012 -- Moody's Investors Service affirmed the A1 insurance financial strength (IFS) of the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company (MLI) and John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) (JHUSA), the principal life insurance operating subsidiaries of Manulife Financial Corporation (Manulife; TSX: MFC, unrated). Other affiliated ratings were also affirmed. The rating outlook for all Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries of Manulife is stable.
