New York, May 11, 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service today assigned a Ba3 rating to Energizer Spinco, Inc.'s ("Energizer Spinco") proposed $600 million senior unsecured notes. Proceeds of the offering will be used to pay a distribution to Energizer Holdings, Inc. as part of the company's spin-off into a separate independent company. Moody's expects the spin-off to be complete by July 1, 2015. All other ratings, including the Company's Ba2 Corporate Family Rating, are unchanged. The outlook is stable.
