B&G Foods, Inc. -- Moody's says B&G Foods' Acquisition of Mama Mary's is a Moderate Credit Positive; Ratings Unaffected
New York, July 13, 2015 -- Moody's says that B&G Foods, Inc.'s (B&G) acquisition of Spartan Foods of America, Inc. (dba Mama Mary's) for approximately $50 million in a fully cash-financed transaction is a moderate credit positive, but it does not change the company's Ba3 Corporate Family Rating (CFR) or stable rating outlook.
