Anglo American plc -- Moody's changes outlook on Anglo American's Ba3 ratings to positive

London, 03 May 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) has today changed the outlook for all ratings of Anglo American plc (AAL or the company) and its rated subsidiaries to positive from negative. Concurrently, Moody's has affirmed the Ba3 corporate family rating (CFR) of AAL, the Ba3 senior unsecured instrument ratings of Anglo American Capital Plc, as well as AAL's (P)NP short-term ratings and the Baa2.za/P-2.za national scale ratings of Anglo American SA Finance Limited.
