New York, October 27, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service (Moody's) placed American Transmission Company LLC's (ATC) A1 issuer rating on review for downgrade. The action follows the recent Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) order to lower authorized base returns on equity (ROEs) for transmission owners operating in the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc (MISO) region. The Prime-1 senior unsecured commercial paper rating is not on review for downgrade.
