Yelp Q3 Loss Widens; Lifts FY13 Revenue Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Yelp Inc. (YELP) reported a net loss for the third quarter of $2.32 million, or $0.04 per share, wider than $2.01 million or $0.03 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Net revenue for the latest third quarter rose 68% to $61.18 million from $36.37 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.01 per share on revenue of $59.41 million for the third quarter.

Looking forward, the company forecasts fourth quarter revenue of $66 million to $67 million.

At the same time, the company raised its full year revenue guidance to a range of $228 million to $229 million from its prior guidance of $222 million to $224 million.

Analysts currently expect the company to post revenue of $64.81 million for the third quarter and $225.38 million for the full year 2013.
