Workday Prices 6 Mln Follow-on Shares At $89.00 Per Share

(RTTNews) - Workday, Inc. (WDAY), a provider of enterprise cloud applications for human resources and finance, announced the pricing of its underwritten registered public offering of 6 million shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $89.00 per share. Closing of the offering is expected to occur on January 21.

Workday expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is acting as lead book-running manager for the offering. Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the joint book-running manager for the offering.

Allen & Company LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc. and UBS Investment Bank are acting as book-runners, and JMP Securities LLC is the co-manager.

The stock rose 3.9 percent on Tuesday to close at $91.29.
