Wintrust Financial Corp. Reveals 42% Rise In Q3 Profit

(RTTNews) - Wintrust Financial Corp. (WTFC) revealed a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $51.06 million, or $0.92 per share. This was higher than $35.86 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.90 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 17.7% to $271.24 million. This was up from $230.49 million last year.
