Wintrust Financial Corp. Q4 Income Climbs 57%

(RTTNews) - Wintrust Financial Corp. (WTFC) released a profit for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $52.56 million, or $0.94 per share. This was higher than $33.46 million, or $0.64 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.91 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 18.8% to $276.05 million. This was up from $232.30 million last year.
