Wintrust Financial Corp. Earnings Climb 26% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Wintrust Financial Corp. (WTFC) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $68.78 million, or $1.17 per share. This was higher than $54.61 million, or $0.94 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.13 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.7% to $300.14 million. This was up from $276.05 million last year.
