WellPoint Names John Short, Elizabeth Tallett To Board - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - WellPoint, Inc.(WLP) Tuesday said it appointed John Short and Elizabeth Tallett to its Board, effective September 18 and October 1, respectively.

Tallett's career spans to about 35 years of global biopharmaceutical and consumer products experience, including operating and strategic leadership roles at a number of health care and technology companies. She is also a Principal of Hunter & Partners LLC, a health care consulting firm, and she brings a financial services and health care perspective to WellPoint, through her Board affiliations like being the Lead Director at Coventry Health Care Inc.,

Short started his first health care consulting firm more than 40 years ago. He served as the CEO of RehabCare Group, and through other Board affiliations he brings health care experience to WellPoint's Board.
