Weingarten Realty Investors Earnings Advance 8% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Weingarten Realty Investors (WRI) revealed a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $75.61 million, or $0.58 per share. This was higher than $70.33 million, or $0.56 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.58 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.0% to $138.60 million. This was up from $130.79 million last year.
