Weight Watchers Int'l Q4 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Weight Watchers International, Inc. (WTW) Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $30.8 million or $0.54 per share, down from $58.0 million or $1.03 per share in the same period last year.

On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.61 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues decreased 11 percent to $366.1 million from $411.1 last year. Analysts expected revenues of $357.98 million.

Looking ahead to the fiscal year 2014, the company currently projects earnings in the range of $1.30 to $1.60 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $2.78 per share.
