Weifa ASA : Distribution agreement in Finland for unique pain products

Weifa has signed a 5-year distribution agreement with the Fysioline Group (Finland). The agreement covers several of Weifa's most recently launched products within the pain category, and can be extended to include additional products. Fysioline will sell, market, and distribute the products on an exclusive basis in the Finnish market under Weifa's brand names. The first product will be launched towards the end of 2016.

Fysioline is the leading Finnish wellness and fitness company, and is currently expanding its pharma division. The company has several market-leading brands within the pain and joint/muscle categories, sold through Pharmacies.

"We are very happy to have signed our first collaboration agreement for the Finnish market. This represents an important first step in building a Nordic platform for our established Weifa brands. The first two products represent a combined annual peak-sales potential (3-5 years from launch) for Weifa in the high single-digit million range (NOK). As announced in June 2015, we aim to expand our business in the Nordic region through different types of partnerships and acquisitions. In December 2015, we acquired Asan and Sana with sales in Norway and Sweden, and now we have made our first move into Finland", says Kathrine Gamborg Andreassen (CEO Weifa).
