Webster Financial President & COO Gerald Plush Resigns - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Webster Financial Corp. (WBS) announced that Gerald Plush, the company's president and chief operating officer and a member of the Webster Bank Board, has resigned to pursue other career interests. The resignation is effective September 30, 2013.

Plush joined Webster in July 2006 as executive vice president and chief financial officer and was promoted to senior executive vice president in July 2007. He was appointed chief risk officer in July 2008 and served in this role until August 2010. Plush was promoted to vice chairman and chief operating officer on January 5, 2011, and to president and elected to the board of directors of Webster Bank on December 15, 2011.
