Webster Financial Corporation Declares Common Dividend

WATERBURY, Conn., July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Webster Financial Corporation (NYSE: WBS), the holding company for Webster Bank, N.A., announced today that its Board of Directors had declared a quarterly cash dividend of $.15 on its common stock.

The dividend on the common shares will be payable on August 26, 2013, to shareholders of record on August 12, 2013.

Webster also declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $21.25 per share on its Series A Convertible Preferred Stock, payable on September 16, 2013, to shareholders of record on September 1, 2013.

On its Series E Preferred Stock, Webster declared a quarterly cash dividend of $400.00 per share ($.40 per each depositary share, 1,000 of which represent one share of Series E preferred stock), payable on September 16, 2013, to shareholders of record on September 3, 2013.
