WebMD Health Corp. Reveals 64% Advance In Q3 Bottom Line

(RTTNews) - WebMD Health Corp. (WBMD) reported earnings for its third quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $21.62 million, or $0.47 per share. This was up from $13.19 million, or $0.32 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.40 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 12.3% to $171.44 million. This was up from $152.61 million last year.
