WebMD Health Corp. Earnings Advance 35% In Q3

(RTTNews) - WebMD Health Corp. (WBMD) revealed a profit for its third quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $13.19 million, or $0.32 per share. This was up from $9.80 million, or $0.23 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.28 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 6.4% to $152.61 million. This was up from $143.49 million last year.
