Watts Water Technologies Earnings Rise 10% In Q2

(RTTNews) - Watts Water Technologies (WTS) announced a profit for its second quarter that rose from last year.

The company said its bottom line advanced to $28.7 million, or $0.83 per share. This was up from $26.0 million, or $0.75 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.79 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 2.0% to $378.5 million. This was up from $371.1 million last year.
