Waters Corp. Q2 Income Rises 18%

(RTTNews) - Waters Corp. (WAT) released a profit for its second quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $129.00 million, or $1.58 per share. This was higher than $109.61 million, or $1.32 per share, in last year's second quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.45 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.5% to $536.56 million. This was up from $494.74 million last year.
