Waste Connections Q1 Earnings Advance 136%

(RTTNews) - Waste Connections (WCN) announced a profit for its first quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $130.35 million, or $0.74 per share. This was up from $55.22 million, or $0.45 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 113.7% to $1.09 billion. This was up from $0.51 billion last year.
