VMware Announces Two New Reselling Agreements With Samsung - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - VMware Inc. (VMW) announced two new reselling agreements with Samsung at AirWatch Connect, the leading event in enterprise mobility. VMware will resell Samsung KNOX Workspace globally, and Samsung Business Services, part of Samsung Electronics America, will now offer the industry-leading AirWatch by VMware Enterprise Mobility Management™ Suite in the United States.

VMware said it will offer a range of supporting services to help customers onboard Samsung KNOX Workspace, including procurement, policy enablement, app installation and deployment on the latest Samsung Galaxy devices. KNOX Workspace is Samsung's government-certified container solution which secures devices from both the hardware and software levels.

The strategic alliance also enables Samsung Business Services to resell the AirWatch by VMware Enterprise Mobility Management Suite in the United States. AirWatch helps customers deliver mobility management in a simple, secure fashion, integrating with existing enterprise systems to manage all devices from a central console. AirWatch supports all device types, deployment structures and enterprise needs to help companies transition to business mobility.
