Versant Supply Chain Names Buck Brewer President

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Nov. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Versant Supply Chain, Inc., a leading provider of specialized labor, freight, and flexible space solutions for the supply chain industry, announced today the promotion of J. Buck Brewer to the position of President.

Mr. Brewer will be assuming the position currently held by Richard J. Peters, who will continue to serve as Chairman.

Mr. Brewer, age 40, has served as Chief Operating Officer since January 2014 and has been a key member of the senior leadership team for the past six years.  He is a twenty year veteran of the supply chain industry, including positions with Sears, AT&T, and Green Mountain Technology. In 2001, Mr. Brewer received a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis.
