Varian Medical Systems Q4 adjusted earnings of $1.16 per share

(RTTNews) - Varian Medical Systems (VAR) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that rose from the same period last year.

The company's bottom line totaled $116.8 million, or $1.26 per share. This compares with $78.6 million, or $0.85 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Excluding items, Varian Medical Systems reported adjusted earnings of $107.2 million or $1.16 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 11.1% to $801.6 million from $721.8 million last year.
