Universal Forest Products Bottom Line Climbs 10% In Q4

(RTTNews) - Universal Forest Products (UFPI) revealed a profit for its fourth quarter that gained ground from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $20.75 million, or $1.02 per share. This was up from $18.90 million, or $0.93 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.00 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 31.5% to $859.58 million. This was up from $653.60 million last year.
