United Natural Foods Sees Q4 Earnings Above Street; Lifts FY15 Guidance

(RTTNews) - Organic food supplier United Natural Foods Inc (UNFI) on Wednesday said it expects fourth-quarter earnings of $0.72 to $0.73 per share and revenues of $2.06 billion to $2.07 billion.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $0.72 per share on revenues of $2.05 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the full year 2015, the company now expects adjusted earnings of $2.85 to $2.86 per share on revenues of $8.18 billion to $8.19 billion. Earlier it expected earnings of $2.84 to $2.88 on revenues of $8.15 billion to $8.19 billion.

Analysts expect earnings of $2.86 per share on revenues of $8.19 billion for 2015.

For the full year 2016, the company expects adjusted earnings of $2.86 to $2.98 per share on revenues of $8.51 billion to $8.67 billion. Analysts expect earnings of $3.05 per share on revenues of $8.61 billion.

The company expects to release its complete fiscal fourth quarter and full year fiscal 2015 results on September 14.
