United Airlines Announces Tentative Agreements With IAM - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - United Airlines, a unit of United Continental Holdings (UAL), Thursday said, it has reached tentative agreements with the International Association of Machinists for the fleet service, passenger service and storekeeper workgroups at its United, Continental, Continental Micronesia and MileagePlus subsidiaries.

The agreements, which cover more than 28,000 United employees, where reached with the assistance of the National Mediation Board, and are subject to ratification by IAM members.

"Bringing our employees together through joint agreements represents another important step forward for United Airlines," said Mike Bonds, United's executive vice president of human resources and labor relations.
