Ulta Beauty Posting Steep Loss On Disappointing Guidance

(RTTNews) - Shares of Ulta Beauty, Inc. (ULTA) have shown a significant move to the downside over the course of the trading session on Friday. After hitting a three-month intraday, Ulta is currently down by 11.8 percent.

The sharp decline by Ulta comes after the cosmetics retailer reported fiscal third quarter adjusted earnings and revenues that matched analyst estimates but provided disappointing guidance for the current quarter.

Ulta said it expects fiscal fourth quarter earnings of $3.50 to $3.55 per share on revenues of $2.085 billion to $2.103 billion, while analysts expect earnings of $3.62 per share on revenues of $2.12 billion.
